Hi! I am new to the forum. This is amazing!

Question: Does anyone know the original artist who painted the football guys on the original 1978 Mattel Football package... the one with the extra flap, not the one that was just a box.

Is this painting / illustration something that anyone has seen for sale anywhere?

I searched for a while years ago, but never could figure out who did the art or where the original is... It's possible it's buried deep in some Mattel archive, or was thrown out... Maybe the original artist kept it.

Just curious, why do you ask? I've been talking to someone else in Email about this artwork too... Any relation? Cool
