Nah... The end result is what matters! Mr. Green Mr. Green

Actually, part of the reason he let me keep it was because he wanted me to use parts from one to fix the other. But I was eventually able to find a replacement part for the remaining one (took a while though, and found it completely by chance, so that was pretty cool...)

I believe so, I've never seen mention of them being sold in other countries... Entex made very few of them, and then killed the product, so it wasn't really around long enough for them to consider worthy of international marketing.

Actually AV systems and games were sold overseas as well. But definitely not in large numbers. I remember Tom Spilliaert from Belgium finding a complete MIMB set (or two?) more than 10 years ago.

Maybe some systems were shipped for US military in Europe also.

Boxed Entex 3-D Escape 1000 Mazes just sold on eBay.

Even with non-responsive buttons (though probably an easy fix) it went for $760!

I bet that seller was surprised!

Sad Evil or Very Mad i'm french and already talked about prices rising here.

now it's worse, i getting irritated about insane prices some around are bidding on "french" LCD/vfd games. (ludotronic, cegi, orlitronic, ...)

it's totally awesome the prices some are putting on "boxed" games. Rolling Eyes Mad

i have got recently a Gakken Robin hood, boxed. i'd prefer burn it than selling on ebay , just to imagine two bidders going mad Twisted Evil

Then just sell it to me, quietly... No one needs to know. Cool

Some of the French/German/UK games have become some of the most sought after games in the last few years... Things like the LCD table-top games and Hanzawa re-brands come to mind... I'm still after some of them myself, but there's a few members here that are tough to outbid! Rolling Eyes

the fact is this is fun for me and many i hope to find these jewels and shapes and styles without many funds and KEEP them ! Very Happy

but seeing some damaged box with tabletop "french" at around HALF a payroll Shocked Confused Sad

sure in ebay, we french are totally outbid, the shame is on sellers too, they devastate local sales in french towns to put on ebay worldwide... Rolling Eyes

i guess i'll never be able to find some "lcd game chronometer" as they go around 150-280€ Sad

Someone else got another good deal on an Adventure Vision:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350271588342

Loose and no battery cover, but for $150 I'd have bought it! Did anyone here get it? I wonder if it will just get re-listed in a normal auction in a few days. Cool

Arrrrggghhh! If I had saw it I would have snapped it up to replace my glitchy one... some of the LEDs in mine do not work and the mirror takes a bit of warmup to get spinning right.

Elephant in the room, eh? No one wants to mention Alex's incredible collection up on eBay for an opening bid of $35,000?

Wow, I'm surprised he didn't post it here... I didn't even know it was listed (I figured he would list games individually).

Good luck with the sale! I'm surprised GameSniped hasn't mentioned this one...

Laughing
It is just a way of publicity, a $5 Dollar ad. Since you can't make auctions based on catalogs from which to choose from , I thought that putting on ebay a price like that it would have drawn attentions,I was thinking to put $50000 Very Happy , and once the auction ends people might start asking for this game or that one. I'm obviously not expecting to sell it as a whole!Especially now that 60 games are gone. Lets see how it goes. Neutral
